newest updates are as follows:

Inferi album coming along very very well. The mixes are sounding better and better, but unfortunately we have run out of the time we had booked.. so we have to somehow work with the engineer’s super booked-up schedule to finish the last song and touch-ups on other songs… therefore it will not be finished in the time we were planning on, which is just as well because it can only get better. Most of my portion of the work is done, so I’m looking forward to getting my life back to work on music and website and other assorted treats. I hope to be churning out quite a bit of stuff for a good while.

To celebrate, I completed and uploaded “tila_en_stereo” today, which I started months ago and never finished do to time constraints, so I found time in the bathroom at work to get most of it done (at least an entire verse was done on the toilet???). It’s an LSDj tune with lots of stereo things happening. During the composing of this song, I discovered the copy/paste shortcut. Man I wish I knew about this earlier.

Yet another late night for me.. so far, I have:

• bounced down the song for which I will be tracking vocals over tomorrow
• started to write the lyrics for the last of the RDEEP songs but neatly set it aside after the first verse
• fixed my printer
• cracked open and dented the 6502 program manual (only 700 more pages to go!)
• set up appropriate pages for RDE over at 8bitcollective and last.fm

Such a weird feature to decide to implement into mac OS. I do believe it makes it easier on the eyes after staring at a bright white screen for hours at a time, or so it would seem… which I suppose could have been the idea from the start. It just makes me wonder all of the other hidden features I’m missing out on. Which is why I’m starting to homeschool myself, starting today-  finding something every night/week and learning it.

also starting next year… hopefully I’ll have Logic by Jan or Feb, either express or Pro… I plan on writing a minimum of one composition every two weeks, be it dance or fake soundtrack or score or whatever.

I want this to work

Hi. Well hopefully I can get some use out of this – I started this to organize my thoughts and hopefully make things easier for me to think about.

At the moment I am putting together my resolutions for the new year. Probably because its an easier and more realistic way of thinking about getting things done, and in a limited amount of time. There are many things to get done and less time to do it in.

I wish there was more to say but there sure isn’t. I will be making it my business to keep up with this blog, very much unlike I have kept up with other blogs or similar ideas in the past.

I suppose I can conclude by transferring to here what I wrote on my DS in the car the other day:
